Christine Patterson is a Charleston-based artist known for her evocative fusion of fine art photography, painting, and mixed media. With over 30 years of experience, her work blends traditional film—often infrared—with layered digital and tactile processes, resulting in soulful, storytelling pieces. Originally from Tennessee, Christine gained early recognition as a Tennessee Bicentennial photographer and has been featured in galleries, museums, and publications nationwide. Her practice spans solo exhibitions, published books, and corporate and museum collections including the Tennessee State Museum and Knoxville Museum of Art. Now working out of her studio at Redux Contemporary Art Center, she continues to teach, exhibit, and explore themes of light, memory, and transformation—guiding others to rediscover their creative essence along the way.
