Support Art Serenade as a Donor: Celebrate Creativity, Uplift Artists, and Give Back to the Community

Art Serenade is more than a celebration—it’s a call to support the creative spirit of Charleston and the mission of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra League (CSOL). This immersive afternoon event brings together musicians, painters, vendors, and community members for a full day of live performances, hands-on experiences, and artistic discovery.

While sponsors help fund the event directly, donors provide vital goods, services, and experiences that make the event more meaningful, memorable, and successful. If you or your business would like to be part of this celebration of the arts, we’d love to hear from you.

Hosted by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Art Serenade is a vibrant, family-friendly arts fair featuring:

• Live painting competitions

• Classical music performances

• A curated art auction

• Creative vendors and interactive activities

All proceeds go toward CSOL’s mission: funding scholarships for young musicians, supporting Charleston Symphony Orchestra performers, and expanding access to music education and outreach programs.

Your donation will directly contribute to the quality, success, and fundraising potential of Art Serenade. Here are some of the items we’re currently seeking:

We’ll be awarding prizes to winners of two live painting competitions. You can help reward Charleston’s emerging artists by donating:

• Gift cards to art supply stores (local or national)

• Tickets or passes to museums, galleries, or creative classes

• Curated art-themed gift baskets (paint sets, sketchbooks, brushes, etc.)

• Unique creative experiences (e.g., a private studio session or workshop)

Help us raise funds through our curated auction by donating:

• Artwork or handmade items

• Gift certificates for local businesses, restaurants, or services

• Experiences (e.g., art classes, spa packages, private tours, event tickets)

• One-of-a-kind items that reflect your business or Charleston’s creative culture

All auction items will be displayed with a branded sign and QR code for mobile bidding.

As a donor, you’ll receive:

• Your name or business listed in the printed event program

• Recognition on the Art Serenade website

• A dedicated thank-you post on CSOL’s social media, highlighting your donation

• Live recognition at the event during painting competitions and/or auction programming

• Optional inclusion of your promotional materials in swag bags
