The CSOL Art Serenade is organized entirely by volunteers who believe that art and music can bring people together. In Year One, our volunteer team helped raise over $13,000 for CSOL scholarships and the Charleston Symphony. This year, we need your help to make it even bigger.
What Volunteers Do
Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Art Serenade. Roles span everything from event setup and registration to helping run the Instrument Discovery Zone, assisting at the DIY Art Table, supporting the art auction, and guiding attendees throughout the day. Whether you prefer working behind the scenes or engaging directly with the community, there is a role that fits your strengths and availability.
Why Volunteer
Beyond the satisfaction of supporting a great cause, volunteering at the Art Serenade gives you a front-row seat to an incredible day of live music and art. You will meet local artists, musicians, and community leaders. You will be part of a team that is building something meaningful for Charleston. And you will help create the kind of event that makes Park Circle such a special place.
Time Commitment
The Art Serenade takes place on May 30, 2026 from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Park Circle Community Building in North Charleston. Volunteers are typically asked to arrive early for setup and may stay a bit after for breakdown. Specific shift times and role details will be shared after you sign up through the portal.
How to Sign Up
Volunteer registration is open now through the CSOL Art Serenade portal. You will be asked about your availability, any skills or interests that might match specific roles, and how you heard about the event. The volunteer coordination team will follow up with your assignment and all the details you need.
