You do not need to be an artist, musician, or volunteer to play a meaningful role in the success of the CSOL Art Serenade. Advocates are community members who help spread the word, connect people to the event, and amplify the mission of supporting music education and the arts in Charleston.
What Does an Advocate Do
Advocates share information about the Art Serenade with their networks, whether that means posting on social media, telling friends and family, sharing flyers at local businesses, or connecting the team with potential sponsors, artists, or musicians. Think of it as being an ambassador for the event. Every person who learns about the Art Serenade because of your efforts is a potential attendee, donor, or future participant.
Why It Matters
The CSOL Art Serenade is produced by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 100% of funds raised go directly to CSOL scholarships for aspiring musicians, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, and the local arts community. When you help spread the word, you are directly contributing to a cause that invests in the cultural future of Charleston. Year One raised over $13,000, and growing awareness is the single most impactful thing advocates can do to help Year Two surpass that number.
How to Get Involved
Getting started is simple. Follow @csolartserenade on Instagram for shareable content. Talk about the event with your friends, family, and coworkers. Every Voice Counts
The Art Serenade thrives because of the community behind it. Whether you reach one person or one hundred, your advocacy makes a difference. The more people who know about this event, the more impact it can have on music education and the arts in Charleston.
